Faraz Ravanbakhsh, J.D.

Faraz is an experienced associate at Crabtree Law who specializes in complex corporate/commercial litigation, Aboriginal law, and construction litigation. He has a particular interest in shareholder disputes, securities litigation, rights and title claims for First Nations, and appellate advocacy. He has assisted with a number of appeals heard before the Supreme Court of Canada, including Trinity Western University v Law Society of Upper Canada, and Owners, Strata Plan LMS 3905 v Crystal Square Parking Corp.

Prior to joining Crabtree Law, Faraz practiced litigation at an established regional firm in Vancouver where he gained substantive exposure to shareholder disputes, securities litigation, construction litigation on behalf of owners and subcontractors, contract disputes, and rights and title claims on behalf of First Nations.

Faraz is particularly passionate about working with First Nations. He has spent years attending Potlatches in British Columbia and in 2016, was honoured to be adopted by the Musgamagw Dzawada’enuxw First Nation who gave him an Indigenous name in recognition of his service to their community.
